(Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first class, so we can have you complete our new student paperwork; If you have a yoga mat, please bring it to your first practice. We have a limited amount of yoga supplies available at class: blocks, straps, and blankets. Please read my ground rules and yoga etiquette prior to your first class)
Fees for Yoga Classes
Walk-ins or single class purchases for our group instructions pay $12.00 per class. I offer a monthly pass (4 classes) which can be purchased before class time starts for $32.00. The monthly pass expires after 2 months and must be used within that time period.
Private Classes $50.00/class
Learn yoga the way it was traditionally taught - one on one with your instructor and customized to your physical needs and lifestyle. Private classes can be taught at your location.
Learn the foundations of yoga while focusing on correct body alignment and precision. Learn yoga breathing and develop strength , flexibility and balance.
Focuses on poses that are more challenging and require strength and flexibility. Learn about inversions and their health-giving benefits, deepen your yoga practice and understanding, and learn more advanced pranayama (yoga breathing) techniques. One year experience with yoga required.
Mixed Levels Yoga
Combining beginners and intermediate yoga students, our mixed levels class accomodates all yoga students. Through the help of props and instructor guidance, students are able to participate in the class at their current level.
A slower paced class focusing on stress relief, injury recovery or rebalancing through gentle and deep asana (poses) . Increases range of motion, deeply relaxes the nervous system and fosters the mind-body connection.
Prenatal yoga helps to prepare expecting Mothers for labor and birth by improving flexibility, opening the hips, increasing strength, and learning relaxation techniques. You will improve your balance as your body changes and grows throughout the pregnancy. Special breathing techniques will help facilitate labor. No prior yoga experience required.
"Before we begin, please understand that the various postures are designed to open and release the various tight areas of your body gradually. It may take you a while before you can do them all with ease. Be patient. Take your time. Enjoy the process. Keep in mind that the poses are not destinations, nor are they strange contortions to force yourself into for some esoteric purpose. They are part of an ongoing process of self-exploration and self-healing. Each individual pose is a map into a specific area of yourself, and where you are in the pose is the pose for you. Immersing yourself in the process is the important thing. That's what's interesting, not the achievement of elaborate postures.
